The DeWitt Noon Lions are increasing diabetes awareness by participating in the following:
- Diabetes Awareness booth in partnership with Genesis Health at the DeWitt Autumn Fest.
- Offering Noon Lions Club members the opportunity to take the Prediabetes Risk Assessment test
- Sponsoring local students with Type 1 Diabetes to attend Diabetes Camp (Camp Hertko Hollow in Boone, Ia)
- Collaborating with other regional Lions clubs and Genesis Health to partner on future Diabetes awareness projects.
